If we had our time again would we have been better off with a Sir Christopher Wren type person looking after the rebuild. They would have a vision, a passion for the rebuild. Have we suffered from having wrecking ball Jerry knocking everything down, blaming others etc etc. Its easy to kick the sandcastle but harder to rebuild it. Where is the passion gone.? We had Sir Ian Anthfield but unfortunately he has passed away. Sir Miles Warren has had his day in the 70's and 80's. Who have we leading the challenge. We need a leader with vision who can create the new CHristchurch. Make it something exciting. A Las Vegas of the South. I dont mean the gambling. Please some one stand up
